Artist Biography

Becca Hohl is a Studio Arts major with a painting concentration at Kutztown University, set to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2026. She has exhibited her work in various galleries and exhibitions, both locally and at Kutztown University. You may know her as one of the talented artists who worked alongside Elaine Hilbert to paint a tiger sculpture for the Fleetwood Borough. The piece is now on display on Main Street in Fleetwood, PA. You may also know her as a Gallery Intern who works at Juxtahub in Emmaus, PA.

     Beyond the studio, Becca is actively involved in theatre arts. Since 2021, she has taken on positions including Lead/Head Set Painter, Lead/Head Set Designer, Assistant Set Designer, Prop Designer, and Set Builder for Fleetwood Area High School Theatre Department. She also served as Art Director, Art Coordinator, Art Assistant, and Art Designer for Christ Mertz Lutheran Church in 2023 and 2024.

      Becca’s work reflects her dedication to both fine arts and theatre, blending technical skill with visual storytelling. Seventeen years and counting, her art style and artist voice have improved significantly. 15 years and counting, her love for working behind the scenes in theatre has become greater. Throughout her art journey, she aspires to allow her artist voice to soar as it also learns more about theatre arts and general arts, steepening to develop her practice further, and watch where the creativity takes her.


More About the Artist

 Post-graduation, Becca plans to find careers that are relevant to her artistic and theatrical practices. She is planning to make a variety of art, and to continue to improve her artistic practices. She is planning to present more artist talks and be a part of art shows. If you see her, be sure to say hi!

       Becca Hohl loves to travel, both in-state and out-of-state. Traveling encourages the development of new ideas or new concepts to grasp and apply to her art style. Moreover, navigating throughout various locations gain this artist the ability to visit historical and modern art in museums or in the city or surroundings, which boosts her knowledge about art in general and artists’ livelihoods. When on endeavors, she takes photos of things she sees or makes notes of conversations she has with other artists. Then, she applies whatever discussions and memories she gathers and applies everything to her artistic practice.

      Whenever she gets the chance, she loves to spend time outside and enjoy nature. She also loves to spend time with animals and learn about how animals behave and communicate. Spending time with her friends is also a must; they bring a lot of happiness and stress-relief to her life. 

      Becca is also a big advocate to donate hair to Wigs4Kids. She has donated her hair three times, and thoroughly enjoys doing it!
